During the period 16-20 June 2025, in its capacity as the National Contact Point for the European Migration Network (EMN), the Migration Directorate organised and conducted a seminar held at the Golden Sands resort. The seminar was organised in two separate sessions and brought together experts from various structures within the Ministry of Interior, including representatives of the Migration units across the country, and representatives of international organisations involved in migration-related issues.
Guests and participants included representatives of the International Organization for Migration, the Regional Directorates of the Ministry of Interior, the Sofia Directorate of Interior, as well as directorates within the Ministry of Interior, namely Legal and Regulatory Activities Directorate, the Bulgarian Identity Documents Directorate, the Human Resources Directorate, and the Academy of the Ministry of Interior.
During the event, the results, information and analytical reports, and studies prepared by the Bulgarian National Contact Point in the implementation of the EMN Work Programme for the period 2023-2025 were presented.
